Angelos C. Tsigkopoulos

Angelos was born in Pireas, Attica, Greece, where the background picture comes from.

He grew up in an entrepreneurial family, he was therefore introduced to the word “deal” at a very young age. For over 20 years, he built a career in Strategic Negotiations in industries that include Banking & Finance, Diplomacy, and Media & Entertainment, where he had the opportunity to work and mingle with business families, discussing their core needs.

 

After he left Citigroup's London offshore wealth management division (IPB) in 2013, he moved in Private Equity with Meridian Equity Partners in London, Mayfair. He got involved in Shipping, Governmental, Media, and Real Estate deals, in Europe and the Middle East. In 2016, he successfully restructured a London-based global business publication, achieving an 18% revenue increase in twelve months. During the annual Banking & Finance awards programme of the publication, he structured, directed and presented more than ten video award presentations, on camera at Reuters | Tima studios in London.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in European Studies & Marketing from London Guildhall University and he is a member of several philosophical clubs in Europe. His free time is dedicated to family, sports and travelling. You will often find him enjoying a maduro cigar over single malt whiskey, in cigar lounges in London, Athens and Monaco.
